Love this entry, it really sums up how I feel about the education system, too. My sister Nancy, who took three language courses in high school, was so good at it, that the Spanish would sometimes get her to help out. However, she was *required* to take a Social Studies course that literally, a monkey could pass. All they did was watch "cultural" movies, and then talk about them afterwards.
