I’m really crap at filling out about me pages, but since you’re here, I’ll make an effort.

I like websites a lot. It’s something of an obsession. I hate IE6 with passion. That picture of me terrifies most people, including my mom, which is why I like it.

I’m a difficult person. While I like to tell people I’m laid back and easy going, that’s a blatant lie. I’m like a chihuahua; I’m too small to pose much of a threat, but I bark a lot and I get really shaky and bug eyed when I’m scared.

My boyfriend (aka “manfriend”) puts up with my shit for no evident reason. I suspect we’re together until we can figure out just why we like each other so much, at which point, all the mystery will have been lost and we’ll drift apart slowly and sadly.

I own my own web design and consulting business, but I tend to be too busy with projects with no foreseeable profit to take on a lot of business. I like the idea of passive income, and maybe I’ll actually get on that bandwagon someday.

On a personal level, I possess a raw sexual energy, like a wildebeast. I never quite got the hints about what’s okay for girls to do compared to what’s okay for guys to do. As a result, I’m absolutely terrifying. I’ve been told that my musical taste is everything from brilliant to stupid (stupid because I like more than one genre and think Coldplay is pretty alright).

I mentor pre-adolescent and adolescent kids because at my core, I’m a good person, and I’m better at dishing out insults and abuse than they are (I’ve had loads more practice). I’m also, apparently, quite good at listening and reassuring people that Everything is Going to be Okay Provided it Doesn’t All Go To Shit.

I’ve been blogging since 2001, but have deleted and restarted a few times since then. In 2009, I’m finally  beginning to think this blogging thing is pretty okay.
